On June 1st, I will officially be moving into a different house in San Juan!! I currently have
been living at Adam and Jessica’s house and in Palo Saco at our mission house. I have
enjoyed living at both places, but I have decided that it is time that I have my own space. I will still be spending a lot of time at both places, but now I will just have a place to go home to. There are a couple other missionaries that have been looking for a place in San Juan, and we have decided that we were going to rent this house together. They plan to come down to the Dominican sporadically but wanted a place to land when they are here. One of the other missionaries that I have met here in San Juan, Nicole, is going back home to the states at the end of May, so we will be renting her house. It is really a bittersweet thing. I have gotten very close with Nicole over the last year, and I am very sad that she will be leaving.
Meet Galleta (cookie)!! She is 5
months old now and is the
sweetest! She is a little naughty and
seems to think that she can chase
and try to eat all of the chickens in
Palo Saco. She is very curious,
loves to snuggle, and loves to
follow me around! I am trying to
be a good dog mom and train her,
but I have no idea what I am
doing! She really loves to get into
everything!
